BuzzFeed has spotted an up-to-date feature of Siri: It will correct iPhone users who refer to Caitlyn Jenner as Bruce. For example, ask "How tall is Bruce Jenner," and the answer will come back, "Caitlyn Jenner is 6' 2" tall." Ask for Bruce Jenner's gender, and you'll be informed that "the answer is female." Wired, which posed its own "Bruce" questions, is impressed: "Even though she’s not perfect, the fact that Siri noticed my mistakes at least sometimes is a pretty big win for her, and more generally, for the ability of computers to offer up the kinds of answers that humans might give." The Federalist, which skews conservative and libertarian, is not impressed at all. (More Siri stories.)
