If you ever get a call from a telemarketer named Mark from Chatsworth, you should a) probably not tell him you're recording your conversation, and b) maybe just hang up altogether. Unless you want pure YouTube gold, which is what happened when Los Angeles blogger Jessica Gottlieb reveals to him that she's taping their back-and-forth, UPI reports. Mark is not happy by this revelation, telling Gottlieb that "you've gotten us off on the wrong foot, ma'am" and informing her that "it's illegal to record somebody unless you tell them previously, unless they're committing a felony" (which he appears to be only partially right about).

The rest of the four-minute conversation veers into bizarro world, with Mark taunting Gottlieb by telling her he doesn't believe she's really recording him—he offers her $100 to play back any of their chat, "like a tip at a strip club"—and asking her if she's planning to post the call online. "You're trying to deceive me and now you think you've got some mind control thing going on, when you don't," he goes on. "I am in charge. I am always in charge, and I will always be in charge. No one pulls the wool over my eyes." (More telemarketer stories.)
