Now you, too, can be an MIT student—and maybe a card hustler to boot. The school is offering a free online class on how to play poker, reports Motherboard. You can dig into videos, the syllabus, and class notes for the course, which is taught by Kevin Desmond, a grad student in the finance department. At some point, students practice their skills in online card rooms—but with fake cash, notes Time. The course is part of the school's OpenCourseWare program, and the theory behind it is that lessons from the poker table can be applied to the business world. (More MIT stories.)
