Two of Hillary Clinton's favorite topics—Benghazi and her email server—aren't going away:

  • Benghazi: Clinton has agreed to testify publicly before a House panel investigating the 2012 attack that left four Americans dead, reports the Washington Post. Her testimony on Oct. 21 will be public. The Clinton camp accuses Republicans of dragging out the inquiry into how her State Department handled the attack to make it a campaign issue.

  • Emails: Federal authorities confirm they've been asked to investigate whether classified information was mishandled on her private server, reports the Hill. But an initial report in the New York Times that this amounts to a "criminal" inquiry appears to be off base, reports Newsweek. Four emails are in question, but "it appears none of the information was marked as classified before it moved into or out of her home-cooked email system," reports Politico.
