An eight-months-pregnant woman was in her bedroom in a Jacksonville, Fla., home just after midnight today when what authorities call "a barrage of bullets" was fired into the home, striking her torso. Fortunately, her baby was delivered via emergency C-section, and both mom and baby are in stable condition, News4Jax.com reports. As for the shooting, "we believe that someone in the house was targeted," a sheriff's office lieutenant says. "It was not a random drive-by." First Coast News reports that the bullets came through a window. The woman was in the house with three other adults and three children at the time. No suspects have yet been apprehended.
