Something about Pope Francis' visit to Congress this morning apparently made one mystery woman want to resort to footwear-related violence. Mediaite reports a live mic caught a woman standing behind the pope saying she wanted to "take my shoe off and throw it" just before Francis entered the House Chamber. The bizarre remark aired live on CNN, and RedState claims it came from an unidentified reporter. Mediaite states it's unclear who or what was the target of the woman's ire, but points out that Francis, Joe Biden, and Harry Reid were all within shoe-throwing range. (More Pope Francis stories.)
