Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett had 18 point apiece, with Paul Pierce contributing 14 points (all in the first quarter) and eleven assists as the Big Three last night led Boston to a 111-82 rout of the woeful Supersonics, the AP reports. The win is the Celts' tenth straight. Seattle has dropped six straight, and 10 of 11. In other NBA action:

  • Dwight Howard's 22 points propelled Orlando to a 110-88 drubbing of the Clippers. Howard posted 13 rebounds to earn his 57th double-double of the year.
  • Nearly snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, New York blew most of a 14-point  lead before beating benighted Miami, 91-88. The Knicks' victory snapped a seven-game skid, sending Miami to 3-33 in their last 36.
