Suns Shake Off Foul Trouble, Warriors 123-115

(Newser) – After Shaquille O'Neal fouled out of the game midway through the third—with the fourth technical foul called on Phoenix—the Suns regrouped before a furious home crowd to top the Warriors 123-115, reports the Arizona Republic. Golden State's league-leading offense outshot Phoenix 105-82 due to turnovers and offensive boards, but was out gunned 54% to 41%. Also in hoops:

  • On his 28th birthday, All-Star Caron "Tough Juice" Butler played 41 minutes in his return from injury, and his Wizards squeaked by the Cavaliers 101-99 to return to .500. "Swag at an all-time high," remarked Butler.
  • Ron Artest had 22 points and six steals, keying the Kings to a 96-85 win over the Trail Blazers.
