(Newser) – In 1977, an 18-year-old Peter "Stoney" Emshwiller recorded himself interviewing a future version of himself. Along with questions about how his life ended up, Emshwiller recorded all sorts of potential reactions to the responses he would get. Now, a 56-year-old Emshwiller wants to finish the sit-down. He's raising money on Rockethub to make a full film based on the interview (he's already reached his original goal of $10,000), and he's released a teaser that is at once funny ("I know a lot about you. You're a virgin. Yeah, you are! Technically, you are. Until about a few months from now. I know, I was there," says the elder Emshwiller) and poignant ("Spend more time with Dad," the elder Emshwiller says earnestly). See it all in the video.
