Missy Elliott has been out of the limelight since 2005, when she released her sixth studio album. But the rapper dropped a music video Thursday morning, and the Internet is freaking out. E! notes that it's her first video in seven years and her first single in three. Elliott previewed the video for "WTF (Where They From)," which also features and was produced by Pharrell, by joining Instagram Wednesday, USA Today reports. "I can't wait for the whole world to see my new video tomorrow. 9am we bout to take off to another planet," she wrote. "u ready? LETSGO!" Reaction has been enthusiastic, to say the least:

  • "Joy to the World, Missy Elliott Is Here," reads the Atlantic's headline; the song, Spencer Kornhaber writes, "is pure rhythmic pleasure."
  • "There are precocious, dancing children, fluid choreographed sequences, a selection of astounding outfits, and plenty of plasticky, futuristic textures; if you're a Missy fan, it'll feel like home," writes Jamieson Cox at the Verge.
  • Elle's headline: "There's a New Missy Elliott Video and It's Obviously the Best." Writes Leah Chernikoff, "Apologies in advance for ruining your productivity #goals for today, but you're going to be watching Missy Elliott's video for her new single all day."
  • Maxim calls it "the best thing you'll watch all day."
