All-American Tyler Hansbrough scored 14 of his 22 points in the second half as North Carolina sent Florida State packing, 82-70, in the ACC quarterfinals. The Tar Heels got back to their game in the second half: working inside, drawing contact and attempting 21 free throws, reports the Charlotte Observer. FSU's NCAA tournament chances are now pretty slim. In other action:

  • Duke saw nearly all of a 20-point lead evaporate against a game Georgia Tech team but held to win 82-70, advancing to the ACC semifinals. Five Blue Devils scored in double figures.
  • Justin Mason converted a key driving layup late in the game as Texas held off Oklahoma State, 66-59. D.J. Augustin led the Longhorns with 24 points.
