With just 24 days to go before Star Wars: The Force Awakens makes all the money, Disney's viral marketing campaign is working overtime to make sure that's not just comic hyperbole. Wired calls the most recent example of the fully armed and operational Star Wars hype machine possibly "the greatest search results page the Internet has ever known." By typing the now famous phrase "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away" into Google, fans will be treated to their search results in the format of the Star Wars opening crawl, according to Quartz. And while the results are nearly unreadable, at least they come complete with John Williams' rousing score. Wired reports Tuesday's "Easter egg" is part of Google's larger "Choose Your Side" Star Wars promotional campaign. (More Star Wars stories.)
