Michael Jackson Comeback in the Works

Posted Mar 18, 08 8:40 PM CDT in Arts & Living Gossip

(Newser) – The King of Pop is cooking up what one TV pundit calls "the biggest comeback since Lazarus," the Observer reports. After years of legal and financial woes and self-imposed exile, the Gloved One is forging new material and planning a possible concert tour, reportedly collaborating with pop culture icons like Will.i.am and American Idol creator Simon Fuller.

After a string of highly-publicized troubles, including child molestation charges and the near-loss of Neverland Ranch, Jackson’s popularity is on the upswing—partly due to an extensive interview in Ebony last year. High-profile fans like Akon believe Jackson still has what it takes: “Some artists think regional, some think national, I was thinking international. He thinks planets. It's on another level.”
