Ace of Base: big in the 1990s, apparently not so big anymore. Jenny Berggren, one of the singers from the Swedish pop band, had to cancel a concert that was planned for Thursday after just 12 tickets were sold, the Local reports. The gig, scheduled to be held in Lund, Sweden, was meant to raise money for a Swedish charity that serves kids with cancer. Berggren was looking to sell as many as 1,200 tickets, and at least 450 needed to be sold to break even.

"Despite huge interest, exposure and engagement in social, national and local media, we are being forced to cancel (...) the reason for this is that we have not managed to sell enough tickets," said the event organizer in a statement after just a dozen tickets had been sold by mid-Wednesday. The 12 people who were planning to attend the show can get refunds. (More celebrity stories.)
