Houston, We Have No Problems

Posted Mar 16, 08 9:16 PM CDT in Sports

(Newser) – Another game, another win for the Rockets. The Lakers were their latest victim, losing to Houston 104-92 today. That marks 22 straight wins for Houston and now puts them atop the Western Conference, reports the AP. It was an enjoyable game for Rafer Alston, who scored a career-high 31 points for the Rockets in front of their largest-ever home crowd.

"Man. Man, man, man, he was unbelievable," said teammate Tracy McGrady. "I was in awe of his performance.” McGrady had a sub-par day, but the rest of the team rallied behind him to make up for any shortcomings. Bobby Jackson netted 19 points, his most as a Rocket, while Luis Scola grabbed 11 rebounds. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 24 points.
