Everywhere you go this holiday shopping season, Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" will be played. There's no escaping it—but, for the first time in decades, there's another song you might hear more often. That's right: For the first year since Carey's Christmas hit was released in 1994, it is not in the top spot when it comes to most-played holiday songs in retail. PlayNetwork, a company that compiles playlists for many stores, has put together the most-played list for this year's holiday shopping season. Per Paste:

  1. The Shins, "Wonderful Christmastime"
  2. Mariah Carey, "All I Want for Christmas Is You"

  1. Christina Aguilera, "Christmas Time"
  2. Waitresses, "Christmas Wrapping"
  3. Jack Johnson, "Someday at Christmas"
  4. Kelly Clarkson, "Underneath the Tree"
  5. Michael Buble, "Holly Jolly Christmas"
  6. Bing Crosby, "White Christmas"
  7. Train, "What Christmas Means to Me"
  8. Ella Fitzgerald, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
