Hollywood's leading men command huge paychecks to star in would-be blockbusters. But some are "established male leads who charge top dollar but don’t always deliver at the ticket booth," and Forbes released its annual list of Hollywood's most overpaid actors on Tuesday. It's based on actors' three most recent films prior to June 2015 and doesn't include small releases, small roles, or animated films. The six actors who delivered the least bang for the buck in 2015:

  1. Johnny Depp: The once-and-future Jack Sparrow only returned $1.20 for $1 paid thanks to big-time bombs Mordecai and Transcendence.
  2. Denzel Washington: $6.50 for every $1.
  3. Will Ferrell: $6.80 for every $1.
  4. Liam Neeson: $7.20 for every $1.
  5. Will Smith: $8.60 for every $1.
  6. Christian Bale: $9.20 for every $1.
