Here's How Much Money It Took to Bring Han Solo Out of Retirement
With the amount of money he got paid for "The Force Awakens," Harrison Ford could probably buy his own spaceship.   (Film Frame/Lucasfilm via AP)

Well, it looks like the Force was definitely with Harrison Ford's agent. Esquire reports the erstwhile Han Solo made many times what some of his Star Wars: The Force Awakens costars did. Ford's paycheck for the film is believed to be somewhere between $10 million and $20 million, according to Variety. Meanwhile, the other holdovers from the original trilogy—Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill—are rumored to have had paydays in the low seven figures (though that is expected to increase, along with their screen time, in future sequels).

The relatively experienced Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac made out the best of the newcomers, with paychecks in the mid-to-high six figures, Esquire reports. Bringing up the rear are the movie's actual stars—John Boyega and Daisy Ridley—who made between $100,000 and $300,000 for swinging light sabers around and talking to a metal soccer ball.
