Ben & Jerry's Co-Founder Wants You to Eat the Bern
Yum.   (Bernie's Yearning)

Those who feel the Bern can now eat their feelings, thanks to one of the founders of Ben & Jerry's. To honor fellow Vermonter Bernie Sanders, Ben Cohen unveiled a limited-edition batch of "Bernie's Yearning"—plain mint ice cream covered by a milk-chocolate disc, Politico reports. "Open Joyfully: Political Revolution Inside" is the directive on the pint container shown on the website Cohen has set up to promote the product (both he and Ben & Jerry's note that Cohen created this on his own).

What the disc represents is "the huge majority of economic gains that have gone to the top 1% since the end of the recession. Beneath it, the rest of us," per the back of the container. "Jerry [Greenfield] and I have been constituents of Bernie Sanders for the last 30 years," Cohen writes on the site. "We've seen him in action and we believe in him." Cohen is only whipping up 40 pints of the frozen treat, 25 of which are going right to Bernie's campaign. Interested parties can try to win one of the remaining pints on the site. (Another thumbs-up for Sanders came from Walter Scott's lawyer.)
