A student at Emerson College in Boston says he's facing disciplinary action after renting out his dorm room on Airbnb, the AP reports. Jack Worth tells the Boston Globe he rented the room in early January to three guests on three separate nights. The 19-year-old sophomore says the listing was online for two weeks before school officials asked him to remove it. Worth wouldn't say how much he charged for the room.

Emerson officials wouldn't confirm whether Worth rented out his room on Airbnb, citing privacy concerns. But school officials say an attempt to sublet a dorm room would violate the school's housing policies. Worth says any punishment would mar his time at the liberal arts school. An Airbnb spokesperson says all hosts are asked to follow local regulations when renting a room. (More Airbnb stories.)
