Authorities say a former employee of a Waffle House in north Georgia has been arrested and accused of spiking a male coworker's drink with methamphetamine, leaving the worker hospitalized. A Dawson County sheriff says 43-year-old Sonserea Dawn Evans—since fired—is facing felony aggravated battery and drug charges over the alleged incident on Dec. 23. The sheriff says investigators obtained restaurant surveillance video showing Evans taking the coworker's cup, walking toward the restroom area, and returning with the cup. Her 37-year-old colleague remains under medical care, reports the AP. (More Georgia stories.)
