No one knows where Richard Arneson is, except maybe Richard Arneson, and the mystery surrounding the Seattle man's disappearance deepens at every turn. After the 62-year-old didn't show at work, a concerned friend headed over to his apartment on Feb. 5 and found a troublesome scene, per KOMO News: The back door was open, and Arneson was nowhere in sight.

Police were called and didn't find any sign of foul play, but later that day, the same friend came forward after receiving a potential clue: a text she says she received from Arneson that simply said, "My luck has run out." Arneson likes to take to local walking trails, but that's the only info that’s been released so far in the search. (More missing person stories.)
