It's the official end of the line for Melissa Harris-Perry and MSNBC, after a very brief and very public feud over what Harris-Perry felt was the network's back-burnering of her show, reports CNN. Harris tweeted her goodbyes Sunday morning, saying, "Farewell . Inviting diverse new voices to table was a privilege. Grateful for years of support & criticism." She confirms to CNN that she's seeking an exit deal, saying that "the goal of the negotiation at this point is to determine the terms of severance, not reconciliation." An MSNBC rep also confirms the split. Harris-Perry's contract was up in October. (More Melissa Harris-Perry stories.)
