Hornets Come Back to Sting Celtics

(Newser) – The New Orleans Hornets followed a strange path in beating the Boston Celtics 113-106 last night, reports the Associated Press. The Hornets fell behind by 15 points early, and let the Celtics hit 75% of their shots, before storming from behind to end Boston's four-game winning streak. David West led the way with 37 points, while Chris Paul had 19.

Paul, who played only 29 minutes because of foul trouble, also hit two key jumpers down the stretch for the Hornets, who have also beaten the Spurs, the Lakers and the Rockets in recent games. Paul Pierce had 16 of his 28 points in the first quarter, but it wasn't enough for Boston to get its ninth straight road win.
