(AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster) (Newser) – Hillary Clinton's longtime aide and a US representative were included in a list of Western Muslims threatened with "painful—and fatal—punishment" in the current issue of ISIS magazine Dabiq, ABC News reports. Huma Abedin and Rep. Keith Ellison are joined on the list by British politicians, Department of Homeland Security officials, and others, according to the Daily Beast. The article in Dabiq calls them "overt crusaders" and "politically active apostates" and accuses them of involving "themselves in the politics and enforcing laws of the [disbelievers]." This is not the first time ISIS has released a list of potential targets. “This is just a way they are trying to intimidate us, and it’s not going to work,” says a service member whose personal information was leaked online last year, per ABC. The issue of Dabiq also includes praise for and information on the Brussels bombers. But the Wall Street Journal reports at least one French police official doesn't put much stock in the contents of the article on the attackers: "Let's not forget this is a propaganda tool."
