Raptors Collapse Late, Nuggets Prevail 109-100

Posted Mar 23, 08 9:54 PM CDT in Sports

(Newser) – Toronto forward Chris Bosh came an assist short of his first triple-double, but it didn't make his team's latest loss any easier. The Raptors frittered away a 17-point first-quarter lead to the resilient Nuggets, who ended with a 13-2 run to win 109-100 and bump Toronto back to .500, reports the National Post.

Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony combined for 69 points for the victors, including clutch scores in the final minutes. Toronto's Andrea Bargnani had a 16-point first quarter, then wasn't heard from again. Opined a frustrated Bosh: "The thing that bothers me at the end of games is that we're just too hesitant."
