Prince has died at age 57, his publicist confirms to the AP. TMZ first reported the news, citing "multiple sources connected to the singer." Earlier, both TMZ and Minnesota station KSTP reported a medical call that turned into a death investigation at Paisley Park, Prince's Minnesota estate and recording studio, Thursday morning. All authorities would say was that next of kin were being notified of the fatality; a KSTP reporter later tweeted the person who died was a "middle aged man." Prince was briefly hospitalized last week after suffering the flu, but appeared in concert on Saturday. (More Prince stories.)
