Cops Find Possible Car Thief Up a Tree
Zayvaughn Boutwell   (Town of Tonawanda Police)

It won't go down in the annals of brilliant police chases: Police in Buffalo say a man driving a stolen car crashed it into a pole and kicked out a window to escape—only to be arrested hiding up a tree, reports the Buffalo News. The crash occurred after police began pursuing Zayvaughn Boutwell, 22, about 2am Wednesday because they say he was driving erratically. After exiting the car, Boutwell ran through some yards and was eventually found up a tree in one of them. It turns out the car had been reported stolen from a pizza delivery guy hours earlier. Boutwell faces a slew of charges, including driving a stolen vehicle, reckless driving, and resisting arrest. (More dumb criminals stories.)
