Virginia's erasure of an 11-point second half deficit was too little too late, the AP reports.  Even after pulling ahead in OT, 85-81, the fourth-seeded Cavaliers couldn't stop a 7-0 run by fifth-seed Old Dominion, capped off by the Lady Monarchs' Jazzmin Walters sinking a decisive three-pointer with little more than four seconds to play to win it 88-85.

The 5-foot-2 Walters, who finished with 17 points and 10 assists, was aided by the clutch play of 6-2 teammate Tiffany Green. Green, who finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds, earned her sixth blocked shot of the night by stopping a game tying effort by Virginia's Lyndra Littles at the buzzer. Littles finished with 29 points and 14 rebounds for the Cavaliers. (More 2008 NCAA Women's Tournament stories.)
