Today co-host Savannah Guthrie is pregnant with her second child—which means she won't be heading to Brazil to cover the Olympics this summer. "I’m not going to be able to go to Rio, so you’ll have to go to beach volleyball without me," she said on the show Tuesday morning, per the Hollywood Reporter. NBCUniversal is not requiring employees who are concerned about the Zika virus to travel to Brazil, but only a handful of people have decided against going; Guthrie, whose baby is due in December, is the most well-known to opt out so far. (NBA star Stephen Curry took himself out of contention for the US Olympic basketball team.)
