Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump's recently departed campaign manager and CNN's newest analyst, is dismissing the brouhaha over his former boss' tweet featuring Hillary Clinton, cash, and a Star of David labeling her the "Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!" "The bottom line is this is political correctness run amok," Lewandowski told CNN on Sunday, via Politico. "If this were to be a star next to Hillary Clinton without the cash behind it, no one would be questioning this." Further, "this is the same star that sheriff's departments all over the country use to represent law enforcement. You're reading into something that isn't there." Once one dismisses any perceived symbolism, he says, "the message is the same. Let's look at the message. The message is that Hillary Clinton is corrupt." (Clinton was interviewed by the FBI on Saturday.)
