As details emerge in Friday's truck attack in Nice, news on the celebrity front reveals that some high-profile stars were in the area and are accounted for and safe. TMZ and the BBC report Rihanna was in the city in advance of a Friday night concert she was prepping for in the Allianz Riviera stadium, a show that's now been canceled. "Due to the tragic events in #Nice, my concert … will not be going ahead as planned," she wrote on Instagram, showing a red, white, and blue heart. "Our thoughts are with the victims and their families."

Meanwhile, the Mirror reports that Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, and the rest of the cast and crew of the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel, which has been shooting on location in the French Riviera, also escaped harm. "As far as I know everyone from our cast and crew is safe. Thanks for everyone's concern," producer Dana Brunetti tweeted after the attack, confirming a short time later on Facebook that "everyone ... is safe and sound. … Another sad day for France and the world."
