Posted Mar 28, 08 11:23 PM CDT in Sports

(Newser) – Phoenix got double-figures in scoring from five players, including 17 apiece from Leandro Barbosa and Boris Diaw off the bench, and defeated red-hot Philadelphia, 107-93, reports the Arizona Republic. The Suns played solid defense, forcing the Sixers, who had won seven of their last eight, to miss their first 13 shots and holding them to 39% shooting on the night. Elsewhere:

  • Chris Bosh recorded 29 points and 10 rebounds against a smallish Knicks lineup as Toronto defeated New York 103-95. Teammate Rasho Nesterovic added 18 points
  • Troy Murphy had 21 points, 17 rebounds, and Danny Granger scored 26 as Indiana pulled within 2.5 games of Atlanta for the East's final playoff spot with a 123-115 win over New Jersey.
