(Newser) – The Big Three all hit double digits last night, as the Celtics cruised to a 112-92 victory over the Hornets, the AP reports, avenging a loss in New Orleans last week. Paul Pierce led the pack with 27 points, and was joined by Kevin Garnett's 21 and Ray Allen's 12. The win solidified Boston's position atop the East, as they lead Detroit by six with 10 to play. Elsewhere in the NBA:

  • The Bulls fought to within one point from 22 down twice in the final minutes before Atlanta, led by Mike Bibby's 30 points, proved to be too much. The Hawks escaped with a 106-103 victory
  • Orlando captured their franchise best 28th road win as Dwight Howard dominated Milwaukee with 25 points and 11 rebounds. The Magic cruised, 103-86.
