(Newser) – North Carolina reached its second Final Four in four years with an 83-73 win over Louisville last night, reports the Raleigh News & Observer. The Tar Heels, who blew an 11-point lead to lose to Georgetown in last season's Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, had flashbacks in the second half against the Cardinals. UNC led by 12 at halftime only to have the Cardinals fight back to tie at 59.

Ty Lawson hit a 3-pointer at the 5:08 mark to regain a lead the Tar Hells kept the rest of the way. Tyler Hansbrough led the Tar Heels (36-2) with 28 points, including 20 in the second half. Hansbrough was 12 of 17 from the field and 8 of 9 in the second half, as UNC reached the Final Four for the 17th time in school history. "The shots he made were unbelievable," Louisville coach Rick Pitino said. The Cardinals finished (27-9).
