Tyler Perry has offered to pay for the funeral of the twin 15-month-old girls who died last Thursday after being left alone in a hot car in Georgia, ABC News reports. Police say Asa North was drunk when he left his daughters, Ariel and Alaynah, in the car. He's been charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct. The girls' mother, Breal Ellis, was visiting her sister in the hospital at the time of the incident. “I was with them every day and the one day I left...I just want to tell them I’m sorry,” she tells WSB-TV.

Ellis says she doesn't have the money for the girls' funeral and started a fundraising page in the hope of raising enough to cover their burials. Perry saw Ellis on the news and reached out to the news reporter to offer to pay for the girls' funeral. It's unclear if Ellis has accepted the actor and director's offer.
