Jazz Face the Music in Minnesota

Posted Mar 30, 08 8:51 PM CDT in Sports

(Newser) – Just imagine what the Jazz would be like if they could win on the road. Utah has an impressive 32-4 record at home this season, but is a less-than-stellar 16-22 outside Energy Solutions Arena. Minnesota is the latest team to capitalize on their road woes, beating the Jazz 110-103 in Minneapolis. Playing without starters Mehmet Okur and Andrei Kirilenko didn’t help Utah.

Carlos Boozer did what he could to pick up the slack, but his 25 points and 10 rebounds still left the Jazz short. Al Jefferson led a balanced Minnesota attack with 22. The loss was huge for Utah in a tight Western Conference race where they sit in fourth place, just three games ahead of Golden State, the current ninth place team.
