(Newser) – Atlanta would love to enjoy their three-game winning streak, but in a back-to-back stretch of their road schedule they'll have to prepare for lowly Memphis tomorrow night instead if they hope to make it four in a row. Tonight's 114-109 win over the Knicks stretched their lead for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot to 2.5 games over idle New Jersey, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

"We can't feel comfortable until April 20, when the playoffs start,” Atlanta’s Marvin Williams said. Williams took charge for the Hawks with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Jamal Crawford gave it all he had for New York, but even his 39 points – 19 in the third quarter alone - couldn’t eke out a win for the struggling Knicks.
