Celeb Virgins Find Chastity a Hit

Young stars are defying the "sex sells" mantra by rising to success while emphasizing their virginity, ABC reports. Teen heart-throbs like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, as well as older celebs like Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima, appear to be part of a growing modesty movement and say they're proud of their chaste status. But insiders wonder if some of the squeaky-clean images are merely a ploy to appeal to parents.

"Parents are making the decision about what's being purchased and want to see it's a young girl or guy that can be a role model for their children," noted one celeb-watcher. Others say that snow-white public images are hardly new for young stars—think Britney Spears of old—and suggest the celibate superstars be realistic about their fans' expectations and their own behavior.  (More Miley Cyrus stories.)
