(Newser) – Candace Parker dislocated her left shoulder but was able to return to the game and lead Tennessee into the women’s Final Four with a 53-45 victory over Texas A&M. Parker left the game twice in the first half because of the injury, but returned midway through the second and helped the Lady Vols overcome a deficit, reports the Associated Press.

Parker scored only eight of her 26 points after the break, but Tennessee’s stout defense shut down the Aggies, holding them scoreless for a five-minute stretch. It is the sixth Final Four appearance in seven years for Pat Summit’s squad, which will have to get by Southeastern Conference rival LSU if they hope to repeat as national champions.
