Among the revelations included in a batch of Clinton campaign emails released Saturday by WikiLeaks: Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders sought the endorsement of "Bernie Sanders." Politico reports a week after Larry David first played Sanders on Saturday Night Live last October, Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta emailed another staffer, "Can you figure out whether he's for her or Bernie?" Clinton deputy communications director Kristina Schake decided to ask Clinton supporter Rob Reiner about it, according to the Hill. But the Spinal Tap director came back with disappointing news: "Rob spoke to Larry, who said he isn't endorsing anyone...Bernie's campaign contacted him right after the skit to ask him to endorse and he declined." The Seinfeld creator apparently didn't want to endorse either candidate because he was going to continue playing Sanders on SNL. (More Larry David stories.)
