Police in Los Angeles say they've tracked down two of the shooters involved in a horrific gunfight at a party early Saturday that left three people dead and at least a dozen wounded. A police spokesman tells the Los Angeles Times that Jamaican nationals Mowayne McKay, 33, and Diego Reid, 25, were arrested at hospitals where they had sought treatment for gunshot wounds. The spokesman says that the men were identified with the help of videos and eyewitness accounts and will both be booked on murder charges.

From what police have been able to piece together, the shooting at an informal Jamaican eatery operating out of a private residence started when a man was shot and killed after he was confronted by two other men. Rival groups among the dozens of partygoers then opened fire on each other, catching other guests in the crossfire. Cops say the two men in the initial incident are still at large, and it's not clear how many people were shot by McKay and Reid. KABC reports that out of the dozen injured people found at the scene, one man is still in critical condition and most of the others have been released from hospitals. (More shooting stories.)
