John Roselius just voted to legalize recreational marijuana in California. If you're not sure why that's significant, this might help: Roselius is often called "Egg Guy" because of his star role in a certain 1987 anti-drug ad in which he famously uttered, "This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs. Any questions?" while frying an egg. Nearly three decades later, Roselius tells Rooster, "I'm 100% behind legalizing it, are you kidding? It's healthier than alcohol. And the violence is 99% down from alcohol."

Amusingly, Roselius did his fair share of pot-smoking in the 1960s, so he says that when he filmed the ad, he already knew marijuana didn't actually fry young brains. But he made $360 in just a few hours and had no idea the ad would run for 14 years; the Partnership for a Drug Free America didn't give him any additional compensation, which bothers him. A new Gallup poll finds that support for legalizing marijuana in the US is at 60%, a record high since the organization started asking the question in 1969—when just 12% were in favor. California is one of five states voting on legalizing pot in November; Roselius cast his vote via mail-in ballot. (Here's what a legal pot habit typically costs.)
