Groom-to-be Mitchel Craddock and his friends were on a five-day trip at a cabin in the woods when a hungry stray approached their front door. They soon found her seven puppies nearby, and now all eight pooches have homes.
• Viral Video Captures Kind Bus Driver: The elderly woman trying to catch a bus probably wouldn't have made it on her own. But the driver not only saw her and stopped, he got out and helped her walk to the bus—and the touching moment was captured on video.

• After Separation Surgery, Mom Holds Twin Alone for First Time: Nicole McDonald had "one of the most profound moments of [her] life" when she finally got to hold her son Jadon, who was born conjoined to his twin brother at the head. The Utah man eventually tracked down Paula Pierce, whose family owned the Beachcomber Motel in Hampton Beach, NH, until a couple years ago. And he delivered it in person to the grateful daughter of the late bottle sender of five decades ago.
• Boy Becomes Meme, Helps His Village: It was a photo shared 'round the world: a little boy, drawing with utter concentration. People sharing it joked he was, for example, a grouchy driving instructor or perhaps a stern security guard. Turns out, 4-year-old Jake was just a kid taking an art lesson, and the newfound fame is now generating money for schooling in his poor Ghana village.
