The Weather Channel's latest prediction is an unwavering one: a "100% chance" of wall-to-wall election coverage from now until Nov. 8. And it's offering an antidote in the form of a 9-hour, politics-free marathon beginning at 3pm ET next Tuesday, which it revealed in a cheeky press release that riffs off of some of election 2016's more memorable lines. "This election night, as other networks go low, The Weather Channel goes high... to the sky that is. Clouds! Rainbows! Autumn Splendor! And ... yes ... smooth jazz!"

USA Today notes the reverie will be broken at times, but not because of anyone named Trump or Clinton: A Weather Channel rep says the programming will be interrupted if severe weather alerts need to be communicated, and local forecasts will appear on the 8s. But otherwise, it'll be "the most beautiful, awe-inspiring, and calming weather video and scenery ever caught on tape," the channel promises. "It's going to be huge." (More Election 2016 stories.)
