It was a heartbreaker for the New Orleans Saints Sunday afternoon after they lost to Denver on the craziest of plays. The Saints were trailing 23-17 with less than 90 seconds left when Drew Brees threw for a long TD to tie the game and set up kicker Wil Lutz for the potentially winning extra point. But Broncos defender Justin Simmons leapt over the center to block the kick, and teammate Will Parks recovered the ball and ran it back the length of the field for 2 points, per NewOrleansSaints.com. (See the video here.) The Broncos won 25-23, with this being the first time an NFL game has been decided by a 2-point return, reports AP. (More Denver Broncos stories.)
