Donald Trump arrived in Florida Tuesday, and will spend the Thanksgiving holiday at Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, reports WUSA9. NBC News takes a look at what it's taking to protect the president-elect and his 17-member family (that's Melania, Barron, 4 adult children, 3 spouses, and 8 grandchildren) and dubs it "yuge": $7 million for the Florida trip, according to an unnamed Homeland Security official. The network reports that when Trump drove onto the grounds of his 126-room mansion, he wasn't exactly alone: A 45-vehicle convoy made up of limos, vans, and an ambulance streamed in. As for where Mike Pence is Thursday, USA Today reports he'll be spending the holiday with a son, who is stationed in Mississippi as a Marine.

Meanwhile, Trump on Wednesday posted a 1:44 Thanksgiving message on YouTube in which he expressed that his prayer on this holiday is that we "begin to heal our divisions and move forward as one country." He continues, "We have just finished a long and bruising political campaign. Emotions are raw and tensions just don’t heal overnight. It doesn’t go quickly, unfortunately, but we have before us the chance now to make history together ... I am asking you to join me in this effort. It is time to restore the bonds of trust between citizens. Because when America is unified, there is nothing beyond our reach, and I mean absolutely nothing. Let us give thanks for all that we have, and let us boldly face the exciting new frontiers that lie ahead." (More Thanksgiving stories.)
