A man was removed from a plane Thursday in New York after allegedly harassing Ivanka Trump, who was flying to Hawaii with her children, ABC News reports. According to TMZ, the man was "verbally berating her and jeering at her three kids" while holding a child of his own. "Your father is ruining the country," TMZ quotes the man as saying. "Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private." While other sources have not confirmed TMZ's account of the incident, JetBlue says it decided to remove the passenger to avoid the risk of the situation escalating during the flight. Secret Service agents were on the flight but weren't involved.

Matthew Lasner tweeted that he and his husband were removed from the flight after his husband "expressed displeasure in a calm tone," NBC News reports. The incident had apparently started in the airport. "Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them. #banalityofevil," Lasner tweeted. He later deleted his Twitter account, according to the AP. (More Ivanka Trump stories.)
