Barack and Michelle Obama got all the celebrities to turn out for their farewell party Friday at the White House. ABC News says the event had "as much star power as a Hollywood Awards ceremony," and TMZ notes "pretty much every big star who gave [President Obama] mad support" was there. The party was a private event, and cellphones were not allowed inside, but a number of attendees shared photos from outside, Variety reports.

Here's a not-at-all-comprehensive list of celebrities in attendance: George and Amal Clooney, Meryl Streep, Paul McCartney, Magic Johnson, Gloria Estefan, Bradley Cooper, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Lorne Michaels, Steven Spielberg, Robert DeNiro, Ken Burns, George Lucas, Kelly Rowland, David Letterman, Tyler Perry, Jon Hamm, Chris Rock, Stevie Wonder, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Samuel Jackson. "The presence of so many celebrities may contrast to the turnout for Donald Trump’s inauguration," Variety states. "His team has been trying to line up talent to perform at his inauguration festivities later this month." (More Barack Obama stories.)
