(FDA) (Newser) – Turns out, Twinkies can go bad. Hostess is recalling a holiday-themed version that might still be kicking around kitchen pantries over a salmonella scare, reports Food Safety News. Those who bought Holiday White Peppermint Twinkies with the UPC number 888109111571 should dump them or return them to the store for a refund. These particular Twinkies have a confectionary coating affected by a recall from Blommer Chocolate Co. No other Hostess products are affected, and nobody is known to have gotten sick.
